Food
A topic close to our heart… food. There are lots of great eating places in London, so we thought we would provide you a list of our favorite places to check out. For many of these places we suggest you book in advance.
BREAKFAST / BRUNCH
The Modern Pantry (http://www.themodernpantry.co.uk) - The sugar-cured new caledonian prawn omelette with chilli sambal is hands down the best dish in London.
Dishoom (http://www.dishoom.com/covent-garden) - The naan rolls are very tasty, and come in surprisingly large portions.
Bills (http://bills-website.co.uk) - Bills vegetarian breakfast is delicious (Bhavini's favorite).
SoS (http://www.smithsofsmithfield.co.uk) - Eggs on toast and great coffee.
Duck and Waffle (http://duckandwaffle.com) - 360 degree views of London from the 40th floor and its open 24/7 so great for a bite on the way home after going out.
Borough Market (http://boroughmarket.org.uk) - Check out the cheese toasties and chorizo sandwich.
DINNER
Guglee (http://www.guglee.co.uk) - Great chaat (Adrian and Ashani Martyn's favorite restaurant).
Jaffna Curry House (http://www.jaffnahouse.co.uk) - Best Sri Lankan food outside of the motherland (as quoted by Mohini Jegerajan). You must try the devilled chicken and devilled prawns.
Fire and Stone (http://fireandstone.com) - A different take on pizzas. Bhavini's favorite is Canberra (minus the chicken!)
Hawksmoor (http://thehawksmoor.com) - Not the cheapest place in town, but definitely the best steak. If you do book a table here, please tell Johan. He will come!
Burger and Lobster (http://www.burgerandlobster.com) - £20 for a high quality Lobster can't go wrong.
